Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner is a water-based, exfoliating toner formulated with 7% glycolic acid, a proven alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that effectively exfoliates the skin. It helps to remove dead skin cells, revealing a smoother, more even texture. Regular use of this glycolic acid toner promotes the appearance of more luminous and radiant skin while reducing the visibility of fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging.
This formulation also features a Tasmanian Pepperberry derivative, a plant extract that helps soothe the skin and reduce irritation commonly associated with exfoliation, making it suitable for frequent use. ITS lifesaver
Ok, so I decided to give this toner another try after unsuccessfully having any results. What was I thinking NOT researching this product thoroughly??
So working in restaurants means the climate varies a lot. My skin has gone through one of the worst breakouts and dullness I’ve ever experienced in my entire life. My dandruff has gotten worse and my feet are quite literally scratching holes in my socks. Not to mention how much I literally stink of sweat.
Apparently, the toner becomes virtually USELESS when coming in contact with water. I massage my scalp with the toner 15 minutes before washing, poof. I haven’t had dandruff since. So after every shower, I throughly wipe myself dry. Then on goes the toner under my armpits, my legs, face and feet. Leave them on for at least 5 minutes (this is a CRUCIAL step so let it sit before applying any moisturiser). Then comes the regular routine.
My skin has been glowing ever since, and I’ve never had such supple, glowy and smooth skin before in my life. Thank you Ordinary 😍❤️

Best Toner Ever!
I usually hate using Toners and have avoided them for years after trying many different brands which all made me break out with pimples, made my skin feel like it’s burning or made my skin red and sensitive. I don’t know why I tried this toner but I purchased it randomly one day, and all I can say is that it is the best toner I’ve ever used. I have been using it for a month now, I have not had any pimples, my skin feels firmer, my dehydration lines are disappearing, and it gives a nice slight golden glow to your skin when you apply it. I don’t necessarily need to use a toner everyday but I enjoy using it so much.

I started working out a few months ago and no matter what I did, I was ultra stinky after my elliptical sessions. I read on a website that toners with acid can help a lot–apply it once a week in areas that sweat and you’ll be happy with the results since it helps odor control A LOT. I bought this 2 months ago. I use it 3 times a week with a daily facial cleanser. I use the daily cleanser in the morning by itself. Then in the evening with the toner. I leave the toner on overnight. My skin is shiny, brighter & glowing. I use the toner with my fingers. You use less product than using a round cotton pad. I bought the big bottle. It’s going to last me forever. I have oily skin. This helps keep it less oily. It’s very strong. I use it every other day. I use it at night time. I wash it out in the morning. Huge bottle of magic potion. The very very best use of glycolic acid. I love the leave on because it works miracles while I sleep. This is the best acid toner!!!! This transforms my face while I sleep. When you put it on your pores vanish and skin is bright and dewy. When you wake up you will be impressed. I use this at night almost every night unless I use the AHA -BHA peel. I am obsessed with all there acid treatments. I only use “The Ordinary ” because it is high quality and it is exactly what it says it is. And it is Cheap. I remove makeup then wash with a mild cleanser, I let it dry for about 10min and then apply glycolic acid toner. About an hour later I put the lactic acid on top.

I have noticed large pores on my face, so I tried to do more surface exfoliation. I only do this 2x per week so that I don’t irritate my skin too much with the retinol I also use. I started with one application per week on a small cotton pad, then I went to two times per week spaced out. With other changes I made to my skincare and diet, this is the best my skin has felt and looked since before puberty, and I’m 26. I know more than this product have made that possible, but I do think this one contributes. Just start slow and be patient!

This stuff is amazing! These photos were taken after pretty consistent four (4) months of use every night. My nose has always been my biggest problem area because it was oily, red and I would breakout in that area a lot. It has almost completely cleared up. I get tons of compliments on my skin now, it is not as oily, and the breakdowns are minimal. Best purchase I have made! For reference, I was previously using the Regimen for my skin and birth control which still did not clear up my skin around my nose. I am currently ONLY using the toner and moisturizer (no longer using the Regimen or taking birth control).
